What skills do I need?

As a Community Hub Volunteer, you’ll help create this welcoming atmosphere by being a friendly and approachable presence. You’ll support the smooth running of sessions while helping visitors feel at ease and included. As part of this role, you’ll: - Welcome people into the space and help create a warm, inclusive environment. - Prepare and serve tea and coffee, helping the space feel relaxed and inviting. - Chat with attendees and offer informal social support. - Help signpost individuals to further support where appropriate

About Build on Belief

Build on Belief specialises in designing, implementing and running weekend services for people who are struggling with, or are in recovery from their substance use; namely drugs and alcohol. Although some of our projects run across the week, we always work at the weekend. We see ourselves as providing a new and interactive form of mutual aid. Rather than talk about the past, let's get together and build a new future.
