Drop-in Center Volunteer at FirmFoundation : Voluntary Action Harrow

Your role as a volunteer Is to assist with the smooth running of the Homeless Drop-in Day Service. This work is designed to enable homeless individuals to access an indoor environment with the availability of a shower, food and refreshments.

You would be working with other volunteers on the hospitality team to serve, cook and generally assist in the smooth running of the catering. Some cleaning, dish washing, admin work is required in recording temperatures, keeping records and stock taking. Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays are our drop-in days.

What skills do I need?

Good communication skills , punctual, reliable, patience , ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions and to use your initiative when the need arises.
