Fundraising Trustee

Heath Robinson Museum

The Heath Robinson Museum is widely recognised as a national and international centre for the understanding and appreciation of the life and work of William Heath Robinson, and for the development of the wider study of the history of illustration as an art form.

We are financially self-supporting through commercial partnerships and activities, philanthropic fundraising, including the Friends of the Heath Robinson Museum, and venue hire by community groups, local artists, individuals and local businesses. We are run by a highly skilled and motivated team including our fabulous body of volunteers.

We are looking to take on board new Trustees, as we are ambitious about our future and are looking to build our skills in areas that will be key to our success.

In particular we are looking for a Trustee to lead on Fundraising.

Like many small museums fundraising is a high priority for us and we are looking for an experienced fundraiser to help us deliver our strategy. This will involve working across key areas including Trusts and Foundations, Individual Giving, Corporate Donations, and with Friends of the Museum, staff, volunteers and fundraising consultant to increase income.

What skills do I need?

We are looking for someone with proven experience in fundraising with strong networking skills to join our trustee board.
