Gardening Volunteers

Here at Headstone Manor and Museum, we are looking for volunteers to manage the upkeep and development of our beautiful gardens that span around the park and museum. To firstly give some information about ourselves, we are situated in a Grade I listed Manor House with Grade II listed barns that prioritise learning activities, family focussed events and the preservation of archival objects. Our gardens are based on an ancient monument site that attracts many visitors and many weddings so we like to keep them looking lovely all year round. We have roughly ten gardeners currently who are very social and always looking to expand their membership. They meet weekly to work on site and then usually stick around for some tea and coffee in our Moat Cafe. Please feel free to register your interest and we will be in touch.

What skills do I need?

Gardening skills are appreciated but not necessary as our head gardener is more than willing to perform an induction and train you up.
