Harrow Water Squad!

The Conservation Volunteers www.tcv.org.uk

Come and join TCV's Harrow Water Squad!

4 times a month, The Conservation Volunteers will be working on and around Harrow's streams and waterways, keeping the Natural Flood Management features working properly.

Activities will include clearing invasive reedmace from streams and ponds, keeping inlets clear of rubbish and obstructions, scything flood meadows, managing reedbeds and much much more!

Our principle sites are Queensbury Park, Headstone Manor Park, Newton Park West and Stanmore Marsh, with more to be added in the near future.

There is no minimum commitment, so why not come and join the team and protect Harrow's waterways!

What skills do I need?

There are no specific skills required, but the work will need a reasonable level of fitness.

We provide all tools and equipment, as well as training on how to use them - beginners are very welcome!
