Mental Health Volunteer

Roots Restoration

Volunteers will play a vital role in supporting activities by assisting with setup, ensuring that all necessary equipment and materials are in place for a smooth and engaging experience. They will also help create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and comfortable participating. Additionally, for individuals who speak another language, volunteers can provide interpretation support to facilitate clear communication and ensure that language barriers do not prevent anyone from fully engaging in the activities.

Volunteers will be essential in creating a warm and welcoming environment for our clients and, assisting with activity setup, and engaging in friendly conversation. Throughout the session, they will support staff in maintaining a caring, inclusive, and safe space where clients feel comfortable and valued. For those who speak another language, volunteers may also provide interpretation support to enhance communication and participation. At the end of the session, volunteers will help with clean-up and take part in a brief review to reflect on the session and discuss any improvements for future activities.
