Greeting our customers with a friendly smile.

Give support and advice about Harrow Shopmobility services, let them know how our service works.

Help the customer with the registration form. advice on the most suitable equipment for the new member.

Log details in the office records. Take payments and write out receipts.

Answer the telephone.

Prepare the equipment ready for customers using free hire, clean and replace to store room on return of equipment.   

What skills do I need?

No previous experience necessary.

You will be shown how to take phone calls, deal with customers and members, fill in the record keeping and how to clean the equipment.

About Harrow Shopmobility

We are a small local registered Charity providing FREE use of mobility scooters and wheelchairs on a daily basis Monday - Friday 10 am - 4 pm. We are open to anyone with mobility issues to shop in Harrow, meet friends or for any other reason. We loan travel mobility scooter and wheelchairs for a small fee.

We have two sessions per weekday, 10 am - 1 pm or 1 pm - 4 pm. If you choose to do a full day 10 am - 4 pm we will pay up to £7.00 for your lunch with proof of receipt. Tea/coffee water and biscuits provided.
