Warehouse Volunteer

We are looking for 18+ year old volunteers to help in our warehouse.   We are open 10-3 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.  The job involves putting stock/donations away on the shelves of the warehouse, dating (use by dates) the goods that are donated and fulfilling stock request forms from our four distribution centres.  We are looking for people who can commit to working at least 3 hours for one day every week.  We need help on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.  If you are interested please go to our website and fill out an application form. https://harrow.foodbank.org.uk/give-help/volunteer/  Click on Application Form 1 at the end of the first paragraph.

What skills do I need?

You need to be agile and willing to load and unload goods.  There is some lifting to do but we have a team of volunteers to help with the heavier items.  This is a very rewarding role, helping to feed residents of Harrow.
