Food Hub volunteer

RCCT CIC

RCCT CIC is developing a community food hub to help make essential food and ingredients more accessible to people in the local community. We are looking for friendly and reliable volunteers to help support the running of the food hub. Volunteers may help with receiving and organising food donations, sorting and displaying items, checking dates, keeping the space clean and tidy, and assisting community members in accessing available food items. The food hub will provide ingredients and everyday food essentials, rather than cooked meals, helping individuals and families access the ingredients they need to prepare meals at home. This is a great opportunity to support people in the community, reduce food waste, and help create a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone who uses the service.
