Community Supper Club Kitchen Volunteer

We are looking for someone to take over from our current volunteer, to help create a welcoming, comforting and sociable early evening space by preparing simple meals for our weekly Supper Club. Your contribution helps residents end their day with good food, good company and a sense of belonging. Up to 20 attendees for supper.

When: Mondays, 3:45pm – 6.30pm

Location: Community ConneX, 25-29 Pinner Green, HA5 2AF

What You’ll Do

• Prepare simple hot and cold meals (e.g., soups, pasta dishes, jacket potatoes, stews).

• Set up the dining area so it feels welcoming and accessible to all.

• Follow basic food hygiene and safety guidance (training provided).

• Work alongside staff and volunteers to create a friendly, inclusive atmosphere.

• Tidy up at the end of the session with support from other volunteers.

• No professional cooking experience required, just enthusiasm and kindness.
